We have written up market reports for Harford County, Baltimore County
and now we are bringing you this hyperlocal report for all of our Bel
Air friends out there!! Our main office is located in Bel Air so we
didn't want to skip over the hub of Harford County, even though we often
find ourselves using our partner offices in Baltimore, Towson, and
Perry Hall. As the new year is upon us, we have already seen a huge
jump in traffic on our listings, more phone calls, web leads and lots of
conversation as the year is kicking off to a great start in Real
Estate!! The average sales price of a home sold last month rang in at
$280,450, down 1.63% from the same time last year. Nothing to be
alarmed about, as it's a just a year over year comparison, and a house
or two with a low, or high, price point could have skewed this a
little. Overall prices crept up in 2013. The number of homes sold
actually stayed exactly the same year over year. The biggest drop we
saw was that only 17 Bel Air Homes went under contract in December, down
48.48% from December of last year. Judging by our last month, a lot of
that can probably be attributed to the various snow storms we had that
kept buyers, and Realtors alike, couped up in their warm and cozy
homes! Have no fear though, only 14 days into January, and we already
have at least 23 properties under contract in the Bel Air Real Estate
Market!!

32.13% from the same time last year. This equates to the Bel Air Real
